Oily Mess, Bad Product Description

"The product description did not indicate how this sconce was wired. I was hoping it had a cord and could be plugged into a wall outlet. Not so...it is wired for electrical installation which now limits where it can be installed and won't work where I intended to hang it. Had I know this I wouldn't have ordered it. If I decide to keep it, it will have to be professionally installed adding to the total cost of the sconce which will make the value too high for this product. Otherwise, it will become garage sale merchandise. It also arrived with a very oily, green, smelly substance covering the glass which I have not yet been able to entirely remove with any household product. However, it is a very pretty lamp."

"This lamp is gorgeous. It was easy to assemble and it looks wonderful in our living room. The colors are beautiful, with the lamp on or off. The color that looks like a darker yellow in the picture is actually a medium green, which is hard to tell from the photo. The rest of the colors look exactly as they do in the photo. I highly recommend this lamp, it is lovely!"
