"Arrived as promised. Assembly moderately easy, but directions contained a misdirection which necessitated a correction to assembly. No big deal, just confusing. Otherwise product delivered was as promised and unit looks and fits well with room decor. Would buy from this vendor again. Only downside was cost after shipping charges were added to total. Might have been possible to find a similar unit from a local retailer at a savings."

"The assembly took two of us 4.5 hours to complete! While the piece goes together nicely, the instructions are of no earthly use to anyone. The parts are misnamed, and there are no sequential steps - just a series of drawings that do not explain anything properly. Once it's put together, the pretty little keyboard tray does not want to stay up, despite the nice hinges. One more thing - the piece is smaller than I expected - the 50" is on the diagonal - actually each side is only 36"."

"The corner desk looks good and met my expectations. Contrary to some other reviews, I had absolutely no problems assembling the piece--the directions were clear and it took me less than two hours. The piece is sturdy. My only complaint is that the keyboard drawer doesn't open and close especially smoothly--it catches on one side (I'll have to see if I can fix that). It also would have been nice if it could somehow have been designed to include a drawer to hold pens and other small office stuff (the little "drawer" over the computer cabinet is faux). Overall, I would describe the piece to be of average value for the money."

"I bought this desk to fit into the corner of a very tight townhome bedroom. Overall, I am very pleased with the quaity, the way it looks, and fits in the room.
Some of my experiences with this purchase:
* Please be aware that the shipment comes in two (2) boxes. I had help to assemble only to find out I did not have the top!
* Boxes are heavy but packaged well. I did not have any damage. All pieces were present (except for note above).
* I had experienced friends assemble, it took them less than an hour. My daughter finished up the top in less than 30 minutes.
* I am storing video games where the computer would go.
* Nice folding drawer on the outside of the keyboard drawer. It can easily be used to store small items.
* Not a ton of storage but nice big top; will supplement storage with bins underneath or a hutch above.
* Only real Con is that the furniture has an odd smell. It must be the lacquer on the wood. I have been leaving window open to vent.

"this desk looks nice...4 pieces broken & or damaged in box..the knobs snapped when putting on...the slide draw doesn't slide....
home decoratorse did replace the knobs
and broken parts
wouldn't recommend at all

"I was really excited when I found this desk at the outlet price with free shipping, well...that's the only reason why we kept it.
The desk is NOT solid wood, MDF at best and the front drawer doesn't slide at all and came in chipped.
The desk looks OK from a distance but we cannot use the drawer and it definitely is not worth the full price"

"Its hard to find a small space saving desk of this quality. This one is perfect, although a drawer would have been nice. The pull out tray will handle pencils and paper. Desk works well with laptop, but spacious enough for desk top computer and large size monitor. We had no problem with assembly and all parts came together beautifully."

"Desk looks nice. Assembly not bad just one place that wasn't as clear as it should have been. I had to guess and fortunately got it right. Large screw heads show on side of desk. I wish pluggs would have come with it to cover them."

"Bought this because it's very hard to find a cute corner desk that doesn't take up half the room . The compactness of this desk is what sold me, and I'm very happy with it in that respect. It also has the lower shelf and a place for your tower behind the right-side door. I have assembled quite a few furniture pieces and this is not for first-time assemblers. Was difficult but not impossible. A few blemishes in the finish but nothing we can't cover up. Not the greatest quality but not overly expensive, either. We don't intend to use daily so it should be fine."

"I LIKE THE LOOKS OF THE DESK THE QUALITY IS IN QUESTION. THE DOOR TO THE PULL OUT TRAY THAT HOLDS THE KEY BOARD IS NOT WOOD .WHATEVER IT IS MADE OF IS DEFINITLY NOT WOOD. WHATEVER IT IS MADE OF DON'T HOLD SCREWS THEY POPPED RIGHT OUT AS SOON AS THEY WERE PUT IN SO THERFORE I HAVE NO DOOR ON THE KEYBOARD TRAY. WE WILL HAVE TO FIND SOME MORE SCREWS THAT WLL GO ALL THE WAY THRU THEN CUT THEM OFF THANK GOODNESS MY HUSBAND CAN FIX THINGS. AS MUCH AS IT COST I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED WOOD. I KEPT IT BECAUSE IT TOOK SO LONG TO PUT IT TOGETHER I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS ITEM TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE CARPENTER SKILLS"
