"The tv stand arrived quickly and thankfully there were no damaged or missing parts. My husband put it together without any difficulty in about an hour and a half. While the construction, style, and quality are nice, the color looked a lot different than the picture. I ordered the antique white and it is more like a light beige with a greenish/yellow tint. The color really doesn't go with the other decor in my room. I most likely wouldn't have ordered it if the color were displayed more accurately."

"The color was not as pictured. It at first looked green than in a different light looked yellowish. I had to rrepaint it to get the look I thought I was getting.
The holes for the doors did not match up and they had to be redrilled."

"Nice unit, but the color is not really cream or antique white. It has a strong greenish yellow tint to it which may make it not work for some folks. Otherwise it is very nice and well made."

"The antique white color shown online and in the catalog turned out to be a mustard gold and does not match my other furniture. The doors and hardware did not line up with the predrilled holes of the unit. For the price, I definitely would not recommended this piece of furniture."

"Received our tv stand very quickly..easy assembly and perfect size with lots of storage. My only negative is that the color was not as pictured. The color has a greenish hue and is NOT a cream. If you are looking for cream furniture do not choose this product."

"Everything was great but the color it was not antique white it was antique yellow and also make sure all of the boxes come on the same day before you start to put it together. Just the look I was going for."

"When we first received this product, I was disappointed as it was not the color as pictured. It is a light yellowish green and not what I would call antique white. Also one piece came broken, so we had to wait for the replacement part, which came fairly fast and customer service was very helpful. We had to paint it an off white and now it looks really good. But I won't purchase anything else that is called antique white from home decorators as I do not want to have to paint it to enjoy it even though I am now happy with the way it turn out."

"This is the 3rd item I've ordered. The assembly was going well until I had to put the doors on . The holes on the hinges of the doors didn't line up with the holes on the cabinet. I was able to drill new holes, but shouldn't have had to. Now finished, the tv cabinet looks great and has tons of storage."

"Overall I was pleased with the quality of material and ease of assembly. However, there are 3 complaints I have and I will have are in the process of being resolved by HDC. They have been very professional in handling this matter to my satisfaction.
1) The pre-drilled holes on the console for the two doors didn't match those on the doors themselves.
2) The one drawer front arrived with a dent in it.
3) The Antique Cream looks like a DIJON Mustard, if you want more "cream" buy the "Antique White." If you want a mustardy yello get the Antique Cream."

"The color was more mustard yellow than antique cream. The doors didn't line up. Worst part was the base came with a crack right in the middle of it and product was too heavy to return."

"I bought quite a few pieces of this collection for my basement 'rec room'. They are serviceable and nice looking, but the engineered wood construction makes it prone to breakage. For example, the scrolled bottom edges and corners 'peel' if bumped or not handled with care. Be sure to have lots of help (and time!) when assembling, as the pieces are heavy and cumbersome to work with. Cabinet doors are a challenge to make line up perfectly (I gave up). Price was a little high considering it is made of so much engineered wood. I wouldn't recommend these for a living or dining room, but for a playroom, they are fine."

"I ordered this stand in black last week. Shipping was fast. Assembly was for the most part easy, but the installing the rolling mechanisms on the proper sides in the proper direction took some patience and time. Advice~ put one drawer together, see if it rolls appropriately, do not remove labeling stickers, and use it as your guide for the other three. THEN remove stickers.
The one reason this stand does not get 5 stars is appearance. If you look at the picture straight on, the lower beveled piece is not cut to fit accurately. The left side is flush with the left front corner, BUT the right side is cut about half an inch short. We can see the screws connecting it to the right corner, and the space is obvious.
After putting the work into getting this together, I will try to fill this in with black putty instead of returning it.
Sad about this part, but overall, it is a sturdy attractive tv stand.
Upon receiving, I recommend trying this lower beveled piece into the right and left sides, so a return will be much easier if it is not flush."

"I've been drooling over this tv stand for months and finally receive it (as a gift)! for Christmas and it's a great as I was hoping. Unfortunately, I don't know how hard it was to assemble because my fiance surprised me and put it together while I was at work. I do know however, that it took him three hours!"

"I must say that I am pretty impressed with the quality of the French Country furniture. We had been looking for a stand for our new TV in the stores and they were very expensive. We decided to take a chance with Home Dec's stand and we are very happy we did! We had a slight problem with the base getting damaged during shipment and Home Dec's customer service was great in taking care of the problem. We ended up ordering all the matching pieces. I don't have anything negative to say except that the shipping company damaged the product... I definitely recommend Home Decorators!"
