"I ordered this stand in black last week. Shipping was fast. Assembly was for the most part easy, but the installing the rolling mechanisms on the proper sides in the proper direction took some patience and time. Advice~ put one drawer together, see if it rolls appropriately, do not remove labeling stickers, and use it as your guide for the other three. THEN remove stickers.
The one reason this stand does not get 5 stars is appearance. If you look at the picture straight on, the lower beveled piece is not cut to fit accurately. The left side is flush with the left front corner, BUT the right side is cut about half an inch short. We can see the screws connecting it to the right corner, and the space is obvious.
After putting the work into getting this together, I will try to fill this in with black putty instead of returning it.
Sad about this part, but overall, it is a sturdy attractive tv stand.
Upon receiving, I recommend trying this lower beveled piece into the right and left sides, so a return will be much easier if it is not flush."

"I've been drooling over this tv stand for months and finally receive it (as a gift)! for Christmas and it's a great as I was hoping. Unfortunately, I don't know how hard it was to assemble because my fiance surprised me and put it together while I was at work. I do know however, that it took him three hours!"

"I must say that I am pretty impressed with the quality of the French Country furniture. We had been looking for a stand for our new TV in the stores and they were very expensive. We decided to take a chance with Home Dec's stand and we are very happy we did! We had a slight problem with the base getting damaged during shipment and Home Dec's customer service was great in taking care of the problem. We ended up ordering all the matching pieces. I don't have anything negative to say except that the shipping company damaged the product... I definitely recommend Home Decorators!"
