"The end product is fair in workmanship. The appearance is pretty good. The assembly part is a nightmare if you are a female who is not handy with putting furniture together and do not have automatic tools for doing so. I just have a hard time believing it is that much more expensive to ship furniture completed than this. I am not a fan of "doing half the work" when you purchase furniture. I will not do this again."

"I really like these chairs.....they seem sturdy and are really great for an informal dining room or as a kitchen set! The black color with a slight (VERY slight) red worn look along the seams makes these chairs look perfect with two tone tables."

"First of all, this item arrives with a terrible chemical-like odor. I'm not sure if it came from a preservative or a stain or what, but man it stunk. Once we got it unboxed and aired out it was better. The desk was good but the chair was pre-drilled incorrectly. The supports from front to back were about 2 inches off so the supports were higher in the back and sloped down to the front. We had to fix this ourselves. Looks good though."

"I bought this chair to use for my desk and am now contemplating buying more for a new dining set. The chair itself is nice and study and the finish on it is very sleek. I love this chair with a bright cushion on it."
