Beautiful, but not perfect
Date: November 4, 2008
"This buffet is beautiful. I love the Chestnut color I ordered and the overall lines of the piece. However, the assembly left a lot to be desired. Two of the 3 doors do not close correctly, even after taking off the hinges and trying to change things around to make them close. My husband even played with the magnetic strikes to try to get them to close. They still won't close correctly. One of the 3 drawers did not assemble correctly either and there is a large gap in the drawer. This was an okay value for the money, but I would have spent a little more and gotten something pre-assembled had I known this piece would have this many issues."

Sideboard Headache
Date: September 27, 2008
"This sideboard, buffet was extremely hard to assemble. I paid a great handyman to put it together. He was extremely upset by the poor instructions. When it was finished one of the shelves did not fit and none of the doors would close. I was very disappointed with the result. I cannot recommend the company to anyone after this experience."

Love this Buffett
Date: September 18, 2008
"This is a beautiful piece of furniture and looks exactly like the picture. I have had many positive comments about it. The assembly can make you pull your hair out but it is worth it in the end. Oh and I also received this and another piece in just 4 days!!"

Looks good, but hard assembly
Date: September 12, 2008
"Although I'm not usually a fan of mission style, I got this piece because of its dimensions and drawer/door combo. It's perfect for my space limit and the mission look is calmed down a bit by being next to my transitional dining table. This is the first assemble-at-home piece that I've ever had such trouble with... you DEFINITELY need 2 people. But even worse, many of the pieces have a front/back or left/right designation, but this is NOT indicated on most of the pieces. You don't find out until you've moved to the next step and find a piece that doesn't fit, so you have to take apart the prior step and redo it. I always use wood glue at the dowel step, but I stopped doing that on this piece because I had to backtrack several times. Also, door hinges are somewhat flimsy and I had to re-drill new pilot holes to get the hinges mounted correctly so that the doors would close. I am a very experienced DIY, and I consider this assembly process to have been fairly tough."
