"Poor quality on side panels. One side need a lot of touchup and the other side had some kind of stringy contamination in it. Very displeased with this. Also, as I've noted in other craftsman products, the attachment of the door hinges is poor. The screws either strip or the heads break off. I had to drill all the holes slightly bigger (using a 3/32" bit) to make them fit. The overall look from a distance is good, but the up close quality is poor."

"This is a handsome piece and mostly well built. The depth was surprising - it allows placement of curios in front of the books. Unless you have really small (short) books, don't plan on using the fifth shelf.
One of the pieces would not fit flush and I had to take a sander after it so I couldn't say it was easy to assemble.
