"This is a handsome piece and mostly well built. The depth was surprising - it allows placement of curios in front of the books. Unless you have really small (short) books, don't plan on using the fifth shelf.
One of the pieces would not fit flush and I had to take a sander after it so I couldn't say it was easy to assemble."
