"I was a little disappointed with the coat rack. I thought it looked nice and old (antique-ish) in the photo. The brass hooks are really new looking and have a lot of black in them. The wood is a lovely color but has these silly scuff marks to make it look old. They look ridiculous!"

"Although this coat rack is very functional and sturdy, it had several (three) major flaws. The wood was seriously marred in places. If I had not had to ship this back, I would have returned it. As assembled, coats and dog leashes cover up the flaws."

"I purchased this coat rack to go with a cherry bedroom suit. When it arrived, I was impressed that it was solid wood. However, the main trunk of the tree had gashes in it as if it was drug over a rough surface. I emailed and got excellent customer service. They sent me a new trunk (replacement part). When I got it, it, too, had gouges in the trunk, but only 2. So I kept it not wanting to go through it again. This is not worth $200."

"This is a very pretty addition to your house for not much money! My husband put it together in minutes...very easy to assemble! I bought it to hang our bathrobes in our bedroom...it's the prettiest piece of furniture in here!"

"I've been looking for a wood coat rack like this for some time. This one did not disapoint. Went together pretty easily. It's sturdy. Not too crazy about the finish on the metal hangers (antique gold), but it is okay and the wood, as well as the style, is elegant."
