"This is the second shredder I've purchased, as far as a piece of furniture, it is great, the concept is wonderful. It's just that the shredder is cheap and not a cross shredder, but I love it for the fact of hiding the shredder and having a beautiful piece of furniture in both of my offices."

No Assembly!

"This cabinet comes fully assembled; it's only the shredder that needs to be "assembled" by resting the shredder component atop the trash bin. I purchased the maple/antique cream cabinet, and the cream is really more of a mustard yellow. While the color does not go with the antique white of my existing Ethan Allen French Country furnishings, for the price it's not worth reboxing the cabinet to send back and I think it'll be easy enough to repaint (which is a shame because the finish on the cabinet is actually pretty good). The shredder, however, is disappointing, as it's pretty flimsy and small (much smaller than the cabinet), and it strip cuts rather than cross cuts. I would only use it to shred not-so-private documents."

"This shredder cabinet has made piles of unwanted mail disappear before my eyes. The reason being, it's so stylish, it sits right in my family room as an end table! So, all I do is bring in the mail and shred what I don't want while sitting in my family room!"
