"I was disappointed the hamper could not be ordered in brown and other than it does not sit flat, I am happy with my purchase.

"This hamper is very nice looking and stylish. I like the attached, lift lid, rather than the loose lid so many of the natural fiber hampers seem to have. This one , the large, was too big for my space, but the customer service person was so helpful to send me a return label for this and I am getting the medium size in it's place. I am a self-employed interior designer and tend to be rather particular with my own place and this was exactly the style I want."

"No assembly required so that was good. The banana leaf itself was softer in some areas that others, which caused some parts to be hanging off and flaking off as I opened the box. I actually had to take a scissor to some pieces of it so that they would not be hanging off, but now those areas are lighter than the rest, so it looks weird. The liner inside the basket is smaller than the basket itself so you cannot hold as much laundry in it as you think. Also one of the metal prongs that holds the liner up came unattached in the box and I just had to try and stick it in between the weaves to hold up the liner."

"Had a funny smell to it for a few days(because of the wicker) but I put some fabric softner sheets in it and sprayed it with an air freshner and after a couple of days it was fine. Very pleased with it, Would love to order a couple more for my son and his wife."

"This is a very nice quality hamper for a great price that's hard to beat. Shipping was also very fast...got here in just a few days. Also looks good in a bedroom due to the nice finish. I wish they still had the round ones available otherwise I'd get one of those too. As one reviewer stated...there is an odd organic odor, presumably from the banana leaves. I've only had this a week, so hope it subsides in time, though things get washed anyway, so hopefully wouldn't transfer onto clothing."

"Excellent choice for a small space. I am using it behind a closet door where it fits to perfection in a little alcove. It's very attractive and the detachable liner is a great touch. It is well made and should be usable for many years. I am happy with this choice, plus there was no assembly required. That's really important to those of us who buy products online. All in all, I consider this a good value."
