"I had been looking everywhere for black bookshelves with a little hidden storage space, and I am writing this review because I read soooo many in my search that were helpful in my decision. This was my first time working with Home Decorators company and I am always a little leary making such a large purchase from somewhere that I am unfamiliar with. I was so shocked with how quickly I got both of my bookcases. They arrived in great condition. There was a scratch on each ---but worked out to be placed next to the wall and it is black, so easy to cover. Assembly is very easy, just helps to have two people in some parts due to large size. Sturdy shelves that can hold lots of book weight as you can see from picture, this is exactly what I needed for the price I could afford! I would recommend this product and company to my family and friends."

"Both bookcases I ordered arrived in a timely manner. Substantial packaging assured that no scratches, nicks or similar problems occurred during shipping or handling. All hardware was clearly labeled as was each individual bookcase piece. Directions/diagrams were clear and easy to follow. Pieces were perfectly aligned making assembly quite simple. The finish (white) was uniform and completely blemish free. Assembled bookcase are quite attractive and I'm very pleased with all aspects of this purchase."

Great Piece

"This bookshelf was extremely easy to put together, and it looks great. Only consideration is that some of the pieces were scratched. Luckily it's black and the scratches can be easily covered."

"The hardware is packaged in plastic bags with letters on them so there is no confusion about what is what. Each piece of the cabinet is identified with a small, easily removed sticker with a letter on it, once again, no confusion. The cabinet went together very easily, and it is sturdy. The oak, which we got, is a little orange-y rather than the brownish oak color we expected, but it's not bad. The size is perfect, and it provides so much extra storage space in our kitchen, while looking great."
