Looks nice, but... Date: October 26, 2009
"I was impressed with the identification of the components, the assembly instructions, and the relative ease of the assembly. I assembled the unit alone; however, I could see why two persons were recommended. When I searched for the covers for the 8 exposed bolt heads, I had my first disappointment. There were no covers and the overall appearance was diminished.

My second disappointment was when I started to work. There was no place for my feet. Straddling such a wide base was most uncomfortable, as was my finally selected working position: left foot on the base, right foot on the floor.

My third disappointment was when I finished my work and tried to push the cart away (on a hardwood floor) from my cramped leg, and found that the unit was unstable and I almost lost my computer. I soon found that the safest way to move the stand was to hold down the base with my foot while pushing from the top side.

These are all fundamentally design problems which I will accept only until I have a better replacement.

"Looks decent. 2 defective parts in box that I was able to fix Hard to adjust height, Would like locking wheels and pushing the desk but the top only can result in toppling."

Nice Laptop Desk, Good Value Date: July 30, 2009
"This is is nice piece of furniture! Moderately easy to moderate to assemble--it says 2 to assemble, but I did it myself, although I am not a novice. It took me about 2 hours. I like the hidden casters--gives it mobility and versatility, yet it doesn't look like just a cart on casters like many of them do. Nice little drawer for mouse, power pack, software, mousepad, pen, paper, etc. storage, too! Also, this is adjustable, so this can be moved and used with different height seating. I chose the black, and in my opinion it would work with a traditional or transitional decor. Excellent value for the money. I would buy this again."
