Not wood, don't bother

"Although we were excited to receive this as a gift, upon delivery we were truly disappointed. Shoddy materials (paperboard) with thin "veneer", inadequate sino-american instructions, and missing pieces frustrated us in the assembly and evaluation. We have successfully assembled complete rooms of prefab furniture and this is by far one of the lowest quality we have seen.
While the design and size of the unit were ideal, the execution and quality of the product leave much to be desired. Save the money and frustration: have a custom piece built."
