"The cabinet is very well made, not too hard to put together, the doors could have fit a tiny bit better. But the description/picture made it seem like the body was white or off white with a maple top-which obviously it is not. Still the perfect size for where I wanted it and now that it is together, I am not taking it apart. If we can't get used to the color I will just white wash it!"

"I had trouble with a couple of the cam bolts, then I ended up assembling this my own way instead of by the directions - went together much more easily. DON'T LAY IT DOWN AS SHOWN IN THE DIRECTIONS - SET THE BASE ON FLOOR AND ASSEMBLE FROM BOTTOM TO TOP, AS IF ACTUALLY BUILDING IT. Also, the color is a lot darker than the picture shown, but worked fine with my decor. All in all, I really do like the corner armoire."

"This armoire is okay- the color is off. It's more of a mustard yellow. The assembly wasn't bad but the doors didn't match up, the bottom piece was cracked and my kit was missing 2 screws. It was a decent deal for $179."

"The armoire is pretty good overall. When putting it together be careful when you are installing the back panels. Make sure that you place the screws side ways or they will come through the wood. The front doors were not milled correctly, so we had to do some adjusting to get the doors to hang level and the doors still won't stay closed. The magnets do not seem to be strong enough to hold the doors closed. Other than those problems, for the money, the armoire is beautiful."

"Unfortunately, due to the sale price, we ignored many others' reviews and decided to give the corner armoire a chance. When it arrived and we pulled it out of the box, we discovered the "antique white" was actually a dull yellow to green, depending on the light in the room. The bottom decorative piece was cracked in half, and the top maple portion was split. Holes did not line up for screws so we created new ones just to get it to fit together. The back panels barely slid into the back of the cabinet. We also had the same situation a previous reviewer had when, after it was built, we found our DVD player did not fit in the lower shelves. Due to the price, it wasn't worth it to ship it back for a return. If I were to do it over, I would listen to the other reviewers and shop around for a different corner cabinet, even if it meant spending a little more money."

""I bought quite a few pieces of this collection for my basement 'rec room'. They are serviceable and nice looking, but the engineered wood construction makes it prone to breakage. For example, the scrolled bottom edges and corners 'peel' if bumped or not handled with care. Be sure to have lots of help (and time!) when assembling, as the pieces are heavy and cumbersome to work with. Cabinet doors are a challenge to make line up perfectly (I gave up). Price was a little high considering it is made of so much engineered wood. I wouldn't recommend these for a living or dining room, but for a playroom, they are fine.""

"I was happy to find a corner armoire that fits my style, however I was disappointed in the color. On the website the antique white actually looks white, however the actual product is a cream color. The other part was that during assembly, 2 of the predrilled holes were not drilled correctly so we had to fill them in and attempt to drill holes in the correct place which took a lot of time and was frustrating. Overall now that it is put together I am happy about how it looks, but I will need to paint it so it fits my decor. One more thing, the bottom shelves are not large enough to fit our normal sized DVD player so we set it in sideways and have to pull it out to put in a movie."

"We thought that this center would be real wood, but it isn't. Anyway, it does look excellent in the living room. For the sale price that we got it for, it was a real deal. There were a few cosmetic issues when taking it out of the box, but nothing a little paint couldn't help. The assembly was easy a s pie. I had been looking at this item for a year, and I am so happy to finally have it. I do not believe that it is worth the original asking price, but on sale...it's worth it. The delivery was exceptionally fast."

"I was hoping the maple color would match my existing furniture and decor, but the cream color was actually quite a bit darker than I thought it looked on the website and in the catalog.
We painted the armoire, rather than returning it. Home Decorators does not refund the initial shipping rate ($75, in this case) nor whatever the return shipping would have cost, even if we had exchanged the armoire for a different color. We didn't want to be out that much money with nothing to show for it at all. It is expensive as well as inconvenient to return large items to Home Decorators.
Home Decorators did give us a little refund as an incentive to keep the piece, but we had to do quite a bit more work than we wanted to finish the armoire."

"This is the second TV cabinet I've purchased from Home Decorators. These cabinets look much nicer than they are--they are not top quality pieces of furniture, but they look really cute. I bought this one for my daughter's room. If you plan on making multiple moves, this is not the furniture for you! My previous one made two moves before it fell apart completely, and we used professional movers. However, if you are going to be in your house for several years and are looking for a cute armoire, this is an affordable choice that looks nice. Assembly is not overly difficult, especially if you've done something like this before. The directions were clear and easy to follow, and all the pieces were clearly labeled. It recommends two people to assemble, but I was able to do it by myself. If you've never assembled anything like this before, it would be a good idea to have help."

"A smaller size TV armoire is hard to find so it's nice to have this choice. The contruction material seems mostly to be a compressed fiber board, and it dents easily. The armoire top is not quite the same shade of white-yellow that the rest of the piece is but it doesn't really ruin the look. It's not as sturdy as solid wood but it's a handsome piece overall."

"We received the item and realized there was a piece that was cracked. We also noticed some discoloration in 2 other pieces. We called in and they sent replacement parts. Only problem was the replacement parts did not match -- they were more yellow.
In any case, we assembled it. It is not terrifically stable. And does not look super when open. Our TV does not fill the entire space and you can see this perferated board. It just looks bad. Going to buy a board to paint and put back there. Wish we had just gotten the regular TV stand."
