"The lamp has the appearance of top quality. Unlike other floor lamps that I have purchased, this lamp is very sturdy.
The only negative is that the cord used to turn the lamp on and off is very short. It does not reach far enough to use as a foot switch. It can either be used by tucking it in around the top of the arm rest or leaving it on the floor in the same area.
I considered returning it because of this issue, but I really like the appearance of the lamp. Therefore, I will work with this one negative."

"Fist day i got this floor lamp i assemble the lamp
it was easy to assemble but after i put on the floor
and I try turn to position and broken top part of joint
it very very weak plastic material use.
they should not use that kind of material. i was so disappoint with it.
I take this lamp to out side of U.S.A and now I can not return it to the company.
I do not shipping again with Home decorator also
the company must sell good things I so disappointed !!!!"

"Purchased this to be used in a small reading nook in my bedroom. The lamp came well packaged and was extremely easy to assemble. The lamp is well weighted and appears to be more expensive than is actually is. The color of the stain is exactly as featured. If you are looking to "light" a room, this is not the light for you. It is strictly for reading."

"I had been searching for a quality floor lamp for two years. I usually never buy anything without seeing it in person, but I really liked the looks of the Dalton lamp.
