"I wanted to love this desk, but it is way too uncomfortable for even an average-size person like me. It might work better for a child or teen. The drop-down keyboard drawer does not come with a magnet to keep the drawer in place, so it keeps falling down, and the keyboard tray is uneven and too narrow to accommodate a mouse."

"as others have stated the keyboard door will not remain closed. i am disappointed that they have not addressed this after others stated it. it cant be that difficult to fix. but overall, great desk for the price"

"Although there were a number of parts to assemble, the desk was relatively easy to put together. The directions were good and each part was coded. Even the individual bags of the different hardware were coded. All the necessary holes were pre-drilled. The assembled desk has a good appearance and is very functional."

"The drawers that you have to assemble with the runners did not come out smooth, so the drawer doesn't look like a perfect square. The hinges I received for the laptop drawer do not hold the front up."

"I am very happy with this purchase. The desk is very sturdy and looks very attractive. All the instruction were well written and relatively easy to follow. It took me and my husband approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours to assemble. The only thing that bothers me is that the computer drawer does not stay shut. I read on another review that someone purchased a magnet to have the door stick. I guess we will be doing that as well.

"Love this desk. It is sturdy and good quality. We needed it for a small spot in our bedroom and it fit perfectly. The only negative is that the keyboard drawer door does not stay shut. It must be top heavy because it always flaps open. Otherwise this desk is perfect and the price was right!"

"This is a great product except for the front of the keyboard pull out drawer. It does not stay up. It appears to be a design flaw as I see in several other reviews they had the same problem. I am going to try the magnet approach. Thanks for the suggestion."

I can't believe after all of the comments about the computer drawer front panel not staying up that it has not been corrected. If you use magnets to fix it make sure you get heavy duty ones or they wont we strong enough to hold it up.

"I bought this desk for my nine year old dtr. My 11 year old son and I took a few hours to put the desk together. It was fairly easy with good directions. My only complaint is that the computer fold down drawer does not stay closed. I went to the local hardware store and purchased two magnets and put one on each corner. It works great now."

"My duaghter loves this desk for her bedroom. My wife and I think the quality, style, and appearance of the product are very good. "The only problem we have with the desk is that the lap drawer does not stay shut. We had to purchase, and install, a magnet on the top of the drawer so that it stays closed. If we did not install this, the drawer would flip down."

"The quality of this product is more than I had hoped for. The construction is made from wood pieces not just fiber board. Assembly directions are very clear with no problems with assembly. The drawers are a good size for storing desk needs and another reason I chose this particular desk was for the file drawer. This desk is in a guest bedroom with my computer on it. It looks so nice as a good piece of furniture. I highly recommend this product."

"Desk comes in multiple pieces but everything is well marked. Takes about 3.5 hours to assemble.

"love the desk. it's the perfect size for my xtra room. I didn't want to clutter up the room with an additional file, so I'm glad this one is built in. was pretty easy to put together, but you will need 2 people working on it. the drawers slid right in, the file fits perfect also. the top is roomy enough for my 21in monitor, phone, paperweight and small pencil sharpener. I put my router and tower cpu on bottom shelf under desk, it fits great. The only drawback I have with this desk is where do they think you're to put the mouse? The keyboard tray is only wide enough for just the keyboard, did they forget a mouse? barely enough room next to it, can't move the mouse around. either slide the keyboard up high enough to pull the mouse towards you when using it, or place it on top of the desk. too bad. otherwise everything fit well, was lined up nicely for screws, etc. and all doors and drawers fit flush. one suggestion would be to get a cordless mouse."

"Beautiful desk, nice design, carefully packaged to prevent damage in shipping. I enjoy putting furniture together (it's like building a model) and I was able to assemble this desk by myself. (I'm a moderately strong woman.) Everything was well-engineered and the pieces fit together without being forced. The only downside was that, once the desk was completed, I tried to insert the drawers and some of them didn't fit. Turns out the space for the drawers was about 1/4" wider than the drawers themselves. Final result: two of them are useable and two aren't. Very frustrating."
