"I purchased this because of its height. My plan was to have good storage and a user friendly cabinet for a wide screen TV. Not obvious upon unbacking the very heavy (2) cartons was a crack in the bottom pannel and missing screws from some draw pulls the caliper of the threads of which was unavailable locally. Also, the warning of not exceeding 80 pounds on top made it necessary to purchase a wall mount for the TV. I was expecting to avoid this in purchasing this height cabinet. The base of the TV was on the center section of the top, which was above storage shelves for components. Given the lack of vertical support below it I can not take a chance on the weight of the TV here. And, the fibreboard is not durable for managing weight. Becuase I could not find a cabinet this size locally, I purchased this one. Had I known of the weight limitations as noted above, I would have continued to seek a sturdier cabinet. Given the time and trouble assembling the cabinet, I feel tha price is no deal at all. I feel that the weight limitations and fibreboard construction needs to be prominent in the diesription of the cabinet. The weight of the two packages and their components dulled my apetite to pack it together and ship it back. My time is more valuable to me than this. I expect to learn a lesson from this. I am discouraged with the options and availability of strong attractive, durable wood furniture."
