"I have the entire Mino Bedroom Set, and it looks fabulous in my bedroom. The wood is very sturdy and it just looks wonderful! Assembly was fairly easy and well worth it. I constantly get compliments on how put together my bedroom looks. LOVE IT"

"We thought we were too old to purchase this way (in our 50's) and put together, but this bed is fantastic. From delivery drop into my garage to carrying pieces into bedroom for easy assembly, to the sturdy and firm sleep it provides and the elegant look it gives! Wow we will do this again!. We have other non matching but Asian inspired pieces and some traditional too. It looks great with everything!!"

Time Consuming Assembly

"It took my husband quite a long time to assemble the two Mino beds we ordered. One had a part glued in upside down and he had to modify/redrill the holes to make it work. The second bed didn't have this issue, but each took quite a long time: 2-3 hours per bed. A cordless drill would have made it easier, but we didn't have one."

Beautiful Bed

"Be prepared for assembling with a cordless drill with a bit. Assembling manually with an allen wrench would take forever! Once assembled the bed is very solid and looks great. It's extremely comfortable without box springs. You cannot tell that this piece has a veneer surface. The entire bedroom set is absolutely great. The deep color and unique style are beautiful in our new bedroom."

"I absolutely love this bed. Its beautifully made and wasn't too difficult to put together, although I agree with others that it would be easier with two people. The bed is very solid and the wood is beautifully finished. The design is elegant but simple. Definitely a great choice.

Also, the bed was delivered exactly when promised. I also agree that disposing of the packaging was a lot of work (especially the Styrofoam), but it protected the bed very well and it arrived intact and without a scratch."

"This is a sturdy beautiful bed. The wood edges are sharp and have already bruised my schinns a few times, and it took a week for the smell of varnish to fade, but other than that this is a great buy. I like it, I like it a lot."

Bed is huge!

"I like the bed; it's pretty low-profile and good looking, not too hard to assemble (I did it alone but having two people would mke it easier). The only problem is that the bed is really long and wide; our expensive "pillow-top" mattress doesn't fully cover the slats length AND width-wise, which is not a good look! We ended up jamming pillows between the mattress and headboard so we could make the bottom of the mattress cover the slats at the bottom. I measured our mattress and it's the standard "Eastern King" size. I don't understand why the bed frame is so long and wide! Since no one else mentioned this, I thought I should... Make sure you have a big mattress or really puffy bedding (if you buy the kind-sized one)."

Great platform bed at a great price

"My only complaint about this bed is the amount of packaging that came with its parts. I've spent at least an hour trying to flatten the huge cardboard boxes for recycling in my condo building...but worst of all, there was so much styrofoam used to protect the bed. It never biodegrades. I wish that a corn or plant based insulating product had been used instead of all of that wasteful styrofoam that will end up at the landfill.

Other than that, the bed is great - really simple and elegant and well made. I've been sleeping so well on it, because it's made my mattress feel firmer, now that there is no box spring."

"My husband and I have had the bed frame (king size) for about 2 weeks and we love it! It really pulled our bedroom together to give it a real "resort" feel. The picture is very accurate and we're very happy with what we received. Everything came quickly and very well packaged to avoid damage. There was only a very small nick on the bottom of the headboard where it can't be seen. It was easy to put together, a power drill makes the process very quick. Very sturdy frame for our large and very heavy mattress."

"Even though they recommend two people, this bed was easy to assemble by myself. It looks beautiful and is sturdy as well. This is my first platform bed and I love that I don't need any boxspring. I also love the height. The headboard piece is fantastic. The quality of the bed is wonderful. There is absolutely nothing I don't like about the bed."

"overall pretty impressed with the quality and look of this bed. its all solid wood except for the main bulk of the headboard which is veneered pressboard.

feels very solid, and goes together tight. assembly was fairly easy, have an extra hand to help with a few sections. took about 1.5 hrs.

i'd recommend this bed to someone looking for a good contemporary, cleanly-designed platform bed at a fair price. i have the cal-king size. also as a closing note, everything arrived completely undamaged and with extra hardware. that's always important with mail order!"
