"Very impressed with the quality, ease of assembly and overall look. My husband and I assembled in a little less than 3 hours (even with a toddler stealing parts)! It is heavy duty construction and definitiely a permanent peice. We purchased white and love that it is crisp white. The boxes it arrived in had a few dings and tears, but all the materials inside were well cushioned and nothing had any damage. Great Product!!!"

"I love my work station, but the keyboard drawer is way too narrow to use the keyboard and the mouse at the same time.
It was not too difficult to assemble, but because of its size it took us many hours. It was worth the effort."

"After reading other reviews, I too wish the company would include a small bottle of black touch up paint. Between the delivery and putting the items together, it would help with the dings that occur and I'm not going to waste my time returning one piece. Also on the drawers, the holes where the screws go in don't match up. I read this in other reviews too. Overall, not hard to put together, just follow the instructions."

"Took my husband about 2 hours to put together by himself. Its sturdy and well built. One thing to note: the back is not finished, so it will have to go up against a wall, it can't sit in the center of the room. We love it though, would definately recommend."

"I love this desk! I had searched high and low for the right desk and was nervous about ordering furniture online without seeing it in a store, but I went for it anyway, and am so glad I did. This desk is awesome. It was fairly easy to assemble and looks very nice. A few of the pieces were damaged when I received them but home decorators quickly sent me replacement pieces and had superior customer service. This desk is a great addition to my home office"

"Took me a long time to finally find a black l-shaped desk that wasn't poor quality.
This desk is beautiful when assembled, though the functionality leaves something to be desired.
Once assembled, the desk is immovable, but there is no access to the back of the desk, so wiring for electricity to your laptop/docking station/printer/speakers/external HD etc needs to be done beforehand.
Desk is a bit low...if you want to keep your keyboard on top of the desk (rather than in the oddly placed slideout drawer which is too low), you'll have to get a computer chair without arms. Otherwise the arms will hit the drawers before you can get close to your computer.
In terms of the construction process, it took roughly 5-6 hours working alone. The only major flaw were the "runners" for the drawers did not match the instructions (i.e. they gave me too many L1 pieces and not enough M1 pieces), but that was fixed easily enough with a drill.
Overall though, its a nice piece of furniture and not horribly difficult to assemble."

"Love all the storage and it looks great. Assembly was not too bad just time consuming. A couple of the pieces were scratched or dinged when the boxes came, but not in visible areas so it was not a big deal. Overall I would definitely buy this product again, it is a notch up in quality from typical furniture in a box!"

"I love this desk. I call it my "Command Center". Lots of room and designed very nicely. Good storage space.
They say to use 2 people to assemble it but I did it by myself having been a Wood Shop teacher for 30 yrs., I am rather handy. The assembly went smooth and easy. The only downfall was the time wasted getting the little round part labels off of each piece. The glue used really make them stick and some residue is left unless you want to ruin the paint job which I certainly didn't. The labels should be easier to peel off and leave no marks.

Other than that, very happy with this desk. I have a work area, monitor, lamp, printer, telephone, speakers, clock, pictures and other decorations on it. The tower, internet monitors, and sub woofer fit nicely in the corner of the L-shape. I chose to put them there instead of the lower cabinet. I wanted that for storage. I just had to make another cord hole which wasn't a problem.
Definitely recommend this desk. I also recently ordered 2 Oxford file cabinets to go with the desk.I plan to order the bookcase in the near future to complete the set.
Highly recommend and as you can see in the picture my dog seems to like it too!"

"Although the desk was back-ordered for months, it was worth the wait. It came packaged so that nothing was missing, broken or damaged. It has a ton of surface space, so we can put our monitor, blotter, storage baskets, etc. on it, and it still has plenty of space and does not look cluttered. It did take us about 6 hours of work to put it together, and we definitely broke a sweat. We are DIYers, and this was not an easy piece to assemble. The drawings in the directions are not that clear, so trying to figure out if a piece was backwards or upside down was a little tough. Again, it was worth the hassle. We love the desk, and hope to enjoy it for many years to come."

"Along with this desk, I also bought the 6 drawer file cabinet with 3 drawers and the 3 shelved bookcase. The front of all these pieces looks beautiful however, the desk I was really disappointed in it as the back of the desk is not finished off. Therefore it HAS to go in a corner against the walls! We wanted to put it where one side was against the wall but the other side wasnt against anything and it looks terrible! Otherwise the front parts are beautiful! Just wished it mentioned that the backs of both sides aren't finished off! Otherwise Iwould be completely happy!!"
