PRETTY PIECE BUT NOT GREATEST QUALITY Date: July 23, 2009
"I RECENTLY BOUGHT A MISSION BOOK CASE FROM THIS COMPANY/WEB SITE AND WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY OF THE WORKMANSHIP SO I WAS VERY HESITANT ABOUT BUYING ANOTHER PIECE OF FURNITURE FOR FEAR OF HAVING THE SAME EXPERIENCE. THE OVERALL QUALITY OF THIS SOFA TABLE IS OK AND IT LOOKS NICE BEHIND MY LOVE SEAT BUT I WAS STILL DISAPPOINTED IN THE WORKMANSHIP. IT WAS ALSO PRETTY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TOP WASHERS/SCREWS/BOLTS. THE 4 TOP BOLTS ARE TOO SHORT IF YOU TRY TO USE THE ENCLOSED WASHERS BECAUSE THE THREADING DOES NOT CATCH ON EACH OF THE LEGS. AS A RESULT I HAD TO GO TO HOME DEPOT AND BUY LONGER BOLTS. THE TOP OF THE BOLTS I BOUGHT DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE BOLTS THAT CAME WITH THE FURNITURE SO I HAD TO PAINT THEM BLACK. IT WORKED BUT I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT HAVING TO GO BUY PARTS TO MAKE THIS PIECE OF FUNITURE WORK, SEEMS SO STUPID THAT IT WASN'T MADE CORRECTLY! ANYWAYS...IT WORKED OUT IN THE END AND I WONDER IF I WILL EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AS I SEE A PATTERN IN ALL THE WORKMANSHIP!!"
