"This lamp is well made and true to the online description. I did need assistance holding and manipulating the lamp during set-up. The only problem I had is that the light shining through the glass is so bright you cannot look at it. I received 60W equ cfl bulbs with it but purchased 40w equ and that makes the lamp brightness more tolerable. Otherwise I am pleased with the purchase and am using it as a living room end table lamp."

"Love the lamps & the look. Height is very good if you have a couch with high arm rest. The only draw back when putting it together was that there were these little plastic pieces which you couldn't see easily tucked into the wire baseof each pole so that I had a problem screwing the poles into each other (Dah! they had to come off first). The company should also recommend the bulb watt. Since there are 3 lights per lamp, it really lights up the room. I've used 40w & it's still TOO BRIGHT!"
