"First, I was most impressed with the shipping speed. They told me the item would SHIP on March 2, but I actually received it on March 1! The rug is decent quality, laid flat nicely. Soft but not particularly thick.
My only complaint is that it is darker than shown on the website. I was hoping the green would be sage at best (I have sage walls), olive at worst. But the green was actually army green. Almost more brown than green, giving an overall darker appearance.
In fact, if you look at the swirl above the big blueish block you can see that part of the swirl is light and part is dark. That dark color is throughout the rug. There is no light, as pictured.
Also, I was hoping the red was burgundy or maroon but it is true red. Thankfully it's toned down by the brown/green flecks throughout. My only consolation about the army green is that is bares a remarkable resemblance to the color of dirt so I think dirt and stains will be fairly well hidden in this rug! Overall, I'm pleased. I think it's a good value for the price."

Great, but colours a little misleading

"This rug is great. If you're getting it for a neutral colour room, you'll love it. If you're getting it to match a room with blue or green walls, be a little weary about the colours in the photo. I've wanted to repaint my living room for a couple years and will be doing so shortly because of this rug. It could be my computer but the blue doesn't pop like in the photo, the cream isn't as pronounced and the green is a few shades off. It is soft and the backing is one of the smoother ones I've felt. The pattern is uncomplicated and the colours really are great; just different than expected. My ceilings are 8'2" and it makes the room cozier, but if you have a shorter ceiling, it will probably make the room seem smaller as it is darker than expected."

"I love this rug--looks even better than in photo. But I couldn't find out anywhere if it needed a mat on underneath (it does) and I was placing it on a new hardwood floor. Also couldn't figure out if rolling chairs would roll easily on it or if it was too plush. But it is in the kids' computer area, the chairs roll easily and now to order a mat!"

"I have a very large living room. I have a New Country area rug which I brought from my previous home, but in this living room it looked tiny - just sat in the middle of the floor. I had room for a second, larger rug, and didn't want another New Country, but I had to have something that coordinated. This rug fits perfectly into the room. The colors are a little subtler than in the photo. The rug is soft and thick. The price was very good. This looks and feels like a much more expensive rug. Highly recommend."

"I chose this rug from many other internet providers because of its beautiful warm colors. I have had this rug for over two weeks, but it insists on bucking up all across the middle! I have placed long boxes of items heavy enough on top to flatten it and left them for over a week, but it continues to rise up off the floor in other areas!!! Every time I go in the room I have to flatten and tug on it, and readjust it, and within seconds it just curves up in the air all across the middle again. Yikes! How can I get this rug to LIE FLAT, as we already have a rug pad under it? It seems warped or set in a pattern that will not change. PLEASE ADVISE us on how to get it to LIE FLAT. I don't want to have to return it....it is beautiful! Please respond with helpful information."

"I have brown, teal, and cream carpets, grey/cream/brown/adobe lineoleum, and a light cherry Pergo and needed something to bring them all together in the Pergo halls. This was definitely it! Love it! Already have received complements on it and the Pergo isn't in yet. The 1'10" width is great in the hallways."

"This rug looks better in person than in the catalog. Definitely needs a pad under it but is soft and a good value for the money. Haven't decided where to use the 3 "free" rugs that came with it. The large rug arrived before it's estimated shipping date which was great since I had a gathering here and got it down in time for that!"

"We recently redecorated our dining room, and wanted a rug under the new dining table that would compliment the decor without overpowering the room. The Nashua rug worked beautifully. The colors from the website were true to reality, and matched our paint and accessory colors to a T. The pattern of delicate curves picked up a very similar pattern in our curtains. The rug itself was well made, the stitching was adequate and sturdy, and it was true to size. The packaging was adequate to keep it clean and undamaged - all that is really needed in packaging. Delivery was within a week of order, which was fabulous. We'd definitely purchase a rug from Home Decorators again."
