"I am happy with this product. I was initially concerned on the wood appearance, as this was an internet purchase. However, after I saw the wood grain/color/appearance with my own eyes I was very happy. It is a very nice warm dark brown color that goes well with my dark cherry furniture. It doesn't look like laminate or cheep wood.
The quality of the piece is very nice too. No mdf, good construction and not hard to assemble (one person).
I opted for this piece over the Burnham storage cabinet as some reviewers complained that the doors on that product eventually dragged/sagged due to the weight of the DVD/CDS being stored in them.
I believe I made the right choice.
The only thing to consider is that this product will need to be attached to the wall with a safty strap (top heavy when doors open). So keep this in mind when planning room layout as it will need to be near a wall."
