Looks Good, But Way Too Much Trouble!

"After spending close to $600 on this dresser, I expected a little less hassle getting it together. Quality control on this product is extremely poor. Had to go purchase screws, because 2 of the ones included were the wrong size. Goes together a lot like IKEA furniture, and the wooden dowels and predrilled holes which hold the whole thing together are so many different sizes- some were so hard to attach that they actually split pieces of the dresser where we inserted them- luckily peices which were not visible or load-bearing. It was a tough decision, after beginning the whole process (which took 2 of us about 8 hours to complete) whether to finish it or box it all back up and return it. Learned a lesson and would never order furniture (or at least a piece this large) again. It does look good once completed, but it is not very sturdy and I don't expect it to last very long in my daughters' room. Way too much trouble to ever put myself through again."
