"If you like shag rugs, this rug will not disappoint. It is nice and "shag-ish" but yet really soft. It is really heavy and thick, so you cannot really use your vacuum to fluff it...I would recommend a rake. If you put it by a door you will have to shave down the door. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, and get so many compliments on how much it dresses up the room."

"This is definitely an attractive rug and nice quality. But it is very hefty and thick - too thick to allow my door to swing shut over it. So be careful if you were thinking about putting this near a doorway."

"This rug is beautiful and very thick, soft and comfy. Look very classy on our wood floor. The only reason I gave it a 4 star overall is because my upright vacume won't work on it because it's too thick. I'll have to use my attachments to vacume it."
