"I purchased these to add as a decorator touch to a étagère and it worked! I've already had compliments and friends interested in purchasing a set. The craftmanship and detail are superior. "These are very nice, they look very much like antique books. You could even put them in a book case and people would think you really like to read.
They are great for storage of things ie: remote controls, keys etc. They are well built, velvet lined with a small magnet to help keep it closed if you stand it up.

"These boxes are well made and look nice. On the expensive side for this type of box. I use them (along with similar book boxes I've collected) on the top shelves of the floor-to-ceiling bookcases that flank the fireplace in my great room, where they look nice and help fill out space that is unreachable."

"I was looking for some storage items and found these books and absolutely love them! I'm going to give some as Christmas gifts....might even use them as my "wrap", with a small gift inside. They look like beautiful old books, the colors are muted, and the patterns are very elegant. Two of them are a little more orange in color than I would like, but they'll look perfect in my friend's living room to store all the remote controls etc."

"Although I knew that I only needed 3 of these book boxes immediately, I purchased the set anyway. The price was right and the reviews were great. I am using the larger box to house all my remote controls. The smaller box is holding my paper and pencils next to the phone. These boxes have a magnetic catch to keep them closed. That is a really nice touch. I love all of them except for one set where the color is strange...it's a orange/red on brown. The other two sets are brown/black and look like really nice books. The orange/red set looks like a box that's supposed to look like a book...and doesn't. If I had my druthers, I would love to exchange the orange/red for one of the other designs. That being said, the construction is great. I wonder if the color thing is my own problem."

"I purchased these books for a client of mine, who expects a high level of quality, and I was not disappointed. Home Decorator's accents are generally an excellent value, but these exceeded my expectations. They are well crafted and beautifully wrapped, and even the insides of the boxes are very nicely finished. I was surprised at how substantial they were - not at all flimsy like so many that you see in stores. We'll be placing these in a grouping on top of her entertainment center, and from that distance, they truly look like handsome, leather-bound, antique books. A great purchase. I will definitely be using these again in the future."
