"This shelf turned out to be the ideal finishing touch for our livingroom update. It is very nice and the hooks are great for jackets and such right by the door. The only down-side to this item is that the labels were attached TO the wood with some horrible glue. Thankfully I was able to eventually remove them without damaging the piece."

"I agree with all the reviews that this item is super easy to put together, difficult to hang (the design is very flawed on that front, not impossible, just rather difficult to hang). Looks nice and works well for when we have company to hang their things."

"This wall shelf is fairly easy to put together and looks nice on the wall. You will need a short handled Phillips screwdriver to fasten it to the wall because the mounting holes are behind the trim piece below the top shelf. Rated average in workmanship because some of the fasteners may not hold the pieces close enough to hide the fasteners from view upon close inspection."

"It wasn't too hard to make. We did have to put different holes to hang it on the wall because the holes were so close to the top and we couldn't get the screw driver up there. It looks very nice and it is very sturdy."

"you really need a small, but strong screwdriver to put this up... I recommend that it be a 3 person job - 1 to hold, 1 to screw, and 1 to align... Also - don't rely on the cheap holders they give you - screw directly into studs or get some good holders..."

"This piece arrived in a well-packaged box. It came with a few extra parts, which was helpful. It was easy to put together, but I needed my husband to help me put it up because it is so heavy. I would recommend soaping the mounting screws before hanging it because they were very very tight and hard to access. It is a nice heavy piece for a great value. Very sturdy and attractive."

"Shelf looks great, we put it right by the front door to hang jackets, etc. . The only problem we had was mounting the shelf onto the wall because you first assemble the entire unit. Then the predrilled holes for the mounting is underneath the top overhang piece giving you no room to use the drill or screwdriver. I ended up creating my own holes inthe middle of the piece."
