Very striking rug!

"I like the overall appearance and colors (red and black) of this rug, but the checks are much larger than they appear in the picture and there are diagonal stripes of opposite colors running through some of the squares, which give the rug a modern look rather than the western/mountain lodge look I am wanting. Never the less, it looks fine in my guest house and the price can't be beat!"

"I was scared to buy this rug since there were no reviews and the product details are skimpy. This was a nice surprise. It is hand tufted and looks just as pictured. It is very heavy, 68 lbs., and has a nice pile. You do need a rug pad since the back is the heavy muslim type fabric. It is shedding, but my other nice hand tufted wool rug did that too at first. The shedding is not that big of an issue. I bought the 7'6" by 10' size and it was a steal!"
