Wanted to Love These but...
Date:December 13, 2009
"I fell in love with these pictures when I saw them. I wanted so bad to love them but there is a major problem. There are "applied" brush strokes to the print to make it look like a painting. The brush strokes are very random, out of sync with the print and are done with a very wide brush. The tree trunk is one long stroke that is 4 times the width of the trunk. The worst problem is the fact that some sort of glossy material was used to create the brush strokes and it catches light from windows. When it does this, the entire print turns into a "mirror" of brush strokes and you can't even see the print without moving around the room to eliminate the glare. I love the prints so much I am currently looking for a means to "neutralize" the glare from the glossy medium used on them."
