"I agree with the other reviewer - the mirror frame is silver and not gold. I bought it to be in a room that has gold highlights in the wallpaper so it was a big disappointment. The metal parts are not uniform in their distance from the underlying mirror but I attributed that to a hand made (?) construction. The gold angled side mirrors are only lightly gold and not the contrast as the picture would have you believe. Finally, the hooks are outside of the frame and are visible and not hidden behind the mirror."

Not antique gold

"The mirror frame is not antique gold but silver with black spots. There is nothing antique gold about it except the slightly tinted mirror edge. The mirror is very heavy and need special hanging hardware to hold the weight. Has a very contempory feel."
