"I imagined the colors to be more intense. I'm a little worried that the rugs will fade out pretty dull. The lime was more like a soft swampy green."

"Some indoor-outdoor rugs look a bit flimsy. Not this one. I am using the runners inside, and they are perfect for a busy area and a house that is home to 5 cats. I love the look and the ease of cleaning - a hose is all it takes!"

"I needed a rug for my front porch. I was very skittish about ordering from a catalogue since I would not be able to sense the quality or see the true color until after the rug arrived.
This was especially important since I was ordering in the realm of reds. I spoke at length with the online customer assistance person who was quite helpful. When the rug arrived, I was very pleased. It adds style to our entry porch. It fits the area nicely and the color is true to the online picture. Delivery was as pormised. The rug seems as if it will stand up to the outside conditions well. It is also a little bit different than the rugs available at our local stores."

"I bought the red/natural. The color is as it looks on line, a dark dull red, not bright, and golden tan. The care label says to have professionally cleaned. Because of that I would not use it as an outdoor rug. It does not say you can spray it with a hose to clean as all the other outdoor rugs say. But it is a great rug for my kitchen."

"I've never ordered from Home Decorators so I was a bit nervous about making my first purchase. However, I felt like it was a reasonable price so decided to buy the Excel rug. The quality and design is a lot better than it appears on the site. It goes great with my kitchen and granite tops. I highly recommended this rug."

"This BEAUTIFUL outdoor rug arrived within a day of placing our order. It's approx. 4 x 6 and RED, and we placed it on our front porch in front of our red trimmed door. These rugs typically last two to three years outdoors, winter, spring, summer and fall and keep their color nicely. I use four squares of outdoor tape to set it in place at first. Then all I do is occasionally hose it down with water, and sometimes add a little detergent if it needs extra freshening. That's it!"

"The rug arrived and was labelled "Lanai" not "Excel". The product label did not match the description of the product in the catalog. It was supposed to be all weather and washable. The label stated indoor use and Dry Clean only. After discussions with HDC staff we were convinced that it had been mis-labelled. The carpets are outside on our deck and look great. They take a couple of days to flatten out as they are folded rather than rolled."

"I really like the options Home Decorator's has online and the rug I selected looks great for the money. It was a great experience - lots of options and speedy delivery. I can't imagine the time and effort it would have taken to shop retail. The few stores I did go to had limited quanties and nothing I really wanted."
